Paris - Part 2

Paris - Part 2

In this second post I wanted to focus on some smaller independent places that we’ve come across. Some of the most inspiring concept shops, cute cafes and fun bars can definitely be found in Paris.

Nest – This little Vietnamese cafe is so cutesy, yes its rather small, but their beautifully prepared salads and sandwiches are worth sitting elbow to elbow for. The Banh Mi burger was a treat.

Paperboy – Love the vibe here, interior is simple but cool Parisian, staff really friendly and good food, just a perfect little brunch spot. Plus you basically get brunch and dessert on one plate, genius.

Slow Gallerie – Just a few doors down from Paperboy this gallery is always worth a visit, all the artists featured tend to do fun artwork, we’ve picked up a couple of great prints from here in the past.

Ob-La-Di – Just love the name and its just very cool and cute at the same time inside. They do an excellent Chocolat Chaud to make you feel all cosy.

Le Mary Celeste – Great place to sit at the bar get a tasty cocktail and do some people watching. They also casually do oysters as bar snacks.

Pancake Sisters – Another cute one, was just 2 girls serving up pancakes in a bright yellow little cafe. Really friendly and a nice pancake fix.

Marche De Enfants Rouges – Was recommended to me by a friend, perfect place to go for some street food, lots of nice smells wafting around. Sadly we’d just had brunch so were too full to try anything. But the Bento boxes at the Japanese stand look seriously good.

Hopefully we might get another opportunity to head back to Paris again soon, do let me know if you have any recommendations :)
